1. Call to Order
The special August 20, 2026 board meeting of the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Board of Education was called to order by President Jeff Wright at 6:58 a.m. The meeting was held at the Northwest AEA, in Room 5.

Recommendation to approve the new contracts as presented:
• Alicia Schaben - Middle School Assistant VollyBall. Step 5 - $1,848.
• Lauren Curtis - Elementary Associate. Level 9 $18.65.
• Jaycie Schultz - Primary School Associate. Level 4$17.65.
• Kathy Pope - Primary School Kitchen. Level 9 $18.45.
• Megan Tweedy - Middle School Associate. Level 4 $17.65.

c. Resolution Ordering an Election on the Issuance of $38,000,000 General Obligation School Bonds
Mr. Janzen provided the board with a poster of information in regard to the School Bond. Eligible electors who have signed the petition is 554.

The superintendent informed the board with another solution. Mr. Janzen will continue to work on the best solution for the purchase of storage containers.
