(SBA) - Four Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School vocalists participated in Morningside University’s annual All-State Choral Camp, held Aug. 3-5 in Eppley Auditorium. Izzy Carrell, Jax Sedgwick, Roxy Dean and LeOra Murdock spent three days learning and rehearsing music from the Iowa All-State Chorus repertoire while preparing for the upcoming audition season.
The camp concluded with a concert conducted by Dr. Paul von Kampen, the new director of choral activities at Morningside University.
The four SBL students will audition in October for an opportunity to be selected for the Iowa All-State Chorus. Best of luck to Izzy, Jax, Roxy and LeOra as they prepare for their auditions!
