(SBA) – Home Town Physical Therapy celebrated its Sergeant Bluff location with a ribbon cutting and open house Sept. 30, marking its grand opening and its commitment to serving patients throughout Siouxland.
Located at 2190 Old Highway 75, Suite 500A, the independent, private physical therapy clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Brandee Koedam. The celebration highlighted the clinic’s new space and the addition of locally available services for residents recovering from injuries, preparing to return to daily activities or addressing mobility concerns.
The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce recognized the occasion, congratulating the clinic on its grand opening and ribbon cutting. “We’re excited to celebrate their investment in our community and wish the Home Town Physical Therapy team continued success!” the chamber stated.
For Koedam, the clinic combines years of professional experience with established ties to Sergeant Bluff. Her husband, Clint Koedam, is SB-L’s longtime head wrestling coach. After earning her doctorate in physical therapy, she worked at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, serving patients with orthopedic, neurological and other rehabilitation needs. She later joined CNOS in Dakota Dunes as a staff therapist and eventually served as rehabilitation director.
Home Town Physical Therapy serves patients across age groups, from children to older adults, with treatment tailored to individual needs and goals. Koedam emphasizes evaluating each patient, building trust and helping people regain independence. Her approach centers on helping patients return to the activities that matter to them, whether those involve sports, work or everyday life.
