(SBA) - The 2024 ISU Extension and Outreach Summer Camps are back, gearing up to empower and educate the youth of today for the challenges of tomorrow. With a diverse array of programs aimed at grades K through 8th, these camps offer a unique blend of fun and learning experiences that cater to a variety of interests.

From June through July, children from Sioux City, Sergeant Bluff, Sloan, and Moville can immerse themselves in an exciting lineup of camps designed to spark curiosity, cultivate skills, and foster friendships. Among the most sought-after camps are:

  • CSI Camp: The thrilling world of forensic science, where campers become detectives, analyzing clues and solving mysteries.
  • Jr. Chefs: Igniting a passion for culinary creativity, this camp teaches aspiring young chefs fundamental cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Candy Making: Unleashing the sweet side of creativity, participants explore the art and science of making delicious candies from scratch. While learning food safety techniques.
  • Bee Keeping: Diving into the fascinating world of bees, campers learn about the vital role of pollinators and gain hands-on experience in beekeeping.
