(SBA) - The Salix Guardian Alliance has issued the following statement regarding reported threats against Salix city officials:
“We are deeply saddened that our council members and the Mayor feel unsafe. The actions of one individual have halted the meeting process for everyone and delayed implementation of the proposed moratorium wording.
“This individual does not represent the residents who have legitimate concerns regarding a potential data center in Salix.”
"We strongly condemn this type of behavior, as well as any threats of violence or harm directed toward others."
