PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE
Kwik Star plans to submit a Notice of Intent to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under the NPDES General Permit No. 2 "Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities.” The storm water discharge will be from SE ¼ of SE ¼, Section 30, T88N, R47W, City of Sergeant Bluff, Woodbury County, Iowa. Storm water will be discharged from one point source and will be discharged to the following streams: site drains northeast to Harmon development regional storm basin, east to city storm on Prairie Bluff Dr to city storm on 1st St., east to road ditch on 210th St., east to farmers ditch, southeast to Garretson ditch, southeast to West Fork Ditch, southeast to Monona Harrison ditch, and southeast to Missouri River. Comments may be submitted to the Storm Water Discharge Coordinator, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, 502 E. 9th Street, Des Moines, IA 50319-0034. The public may review the Notice of Intent from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, at the above address after it has been received by the department.
