Attendees are invited to bring their own lunches to these free presentations.

September 19: Latina/o History in Sioux City
Presenters Dr. Stacey Alex and Dr. Wilfrido Suárez will share several Sioux City Public Museum artifacts documenting Latina/o presence in our area. While newcomers account for much of our recent population growth, we celebrate Mexican Independence Day by recounting how Iowa has been impacted by more than 100 years of Latina/o social, economic, and cultural contributions.

The Sioux City Public Museum is located at 607 4th Street in downtown Sioux City. For more information, call 712-279-6174 or visit SiouxCityMuseum.org.
