Logan J. Loftus, 25, of Sioux City, IA, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2026. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  His celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 19, from 5-8 PM at the White Horse Mounted Patrol, 1689 Old Highway 141 in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

Logan was born on February 27, 2001, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Timothy Loftus and Lauren Hahn.

Although his life was far too short, Logan filled his years with hard work, laughter, and meaningful friendships. Friendships came naturally to him, and his caring and compassionate spirit touched everyone around him. He had a special way of making people feel accepted, valued, and cared for.

With his quick and quirky sense of humor, Logan was often the life of the party. He loved making people laugh and bringing happiness to those around him. Above all, however, Logan will be remembered for his kindness. He was always willing to help someone, never asking for recognition or expecting anything in return.

Logan enjoyed life most when he was spending time with the people he cared about. His humor, compassion, and generous heart brought smiles to countless faces and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Logan is survived by his father, Timothy Loftus of Lawton/Sgt. Bluff, Iowa; his mother, Lauren Hahn of Sioux City, Iowa; his older brother, Timothy Ian Loftus; his younger brother, Carson Avery Loftus; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

Logan wanted to be remembered with joy and laughter—and with a big party where everyone who knew him could pop open a Busch Light and share their favorite stories and memories.
