Joan M. O’Neill, 81, formerly of Sergeant Bluff, IA died Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Eudora, KS. Joan was born April 28, 1944 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Milton John and Joyce Maureen Ellsworth Clary. She was a 1962 graduate of Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School and a 1966 graduate of South Dakota State at Vermillion, earning a BA degree in Education. Joan was an Art Teacher and Educator in Minnesota for many years, retiring in 1999.
Survivors include her sister, Kathleen Erickson-Murphy, Grantville, KS.; two nephews, Michael Erickson and Matt (Jackie) Erickson; and five great nieces and nephews.
