Woodbury County Emergency Management
February 27, 2025
(Woodbury County, IA) Due to heightened fire risk across Siouxland, Woodbury County Emergency Management is urging the public to take extra care with fire safety. Mild temperatures combined with dry, windy conditions are expected to create near-critical fire danger on Friday. Residents are encouraged to stay alert and follow fire safety measures to help prevent wildfires, which can cause extensive damage to property and the environment and even result in loss of life.
