Calling “Wolf!” one too many times

Posted
(SB) – The boy who called wolf is a well-known tale of a youngster charged with protecting sheep, who’d get lonely or scared, and would scream out, “Wolf! Wolf!” The call would alert nearby farmers who’d rush out to the boy to ward off the wolves only to find there were none. The boy sheepherder used the false alarm a several times, thus frustrating the farmers in their rush to help the boy and ward off the supposed wolves.

One night, the boy spotted actual wolves and was struck with fear. “Wolf! Wolf!” he shouted. “Wolf! Wolf!” he cried. Alas, his call was unanswered. The boy sheepherder was never heard from again, nor was he ever found. Disappeared. Turns out he was eaten by the wolves.

And so it is…

Kipp Jones of Mediaite, wrote:  “CNN’s Scott Jennings argued that Democrats had cried wolf on referring to top Republicans as Hitler so many times that the public had no appetite for a recent report former President Donald Trump had previously praised the dictator in private.

Retired Gen. John Kelly, Trump’s one-time White House chief of staff, told The New York Times on Tuesday that the 2024 GOP nominee once told him Hitler “did some good things.”

Kelly’s remarks drove much of the news cycle for at least a week, and when they reached CNN’s OutFront, Jennings told host Erin Burnett that linking Republicans to fascism had lost its bite.”

The GOP strategist concluded he had grown “callus” on being linked to Nazism as similar accusations had been thrown at his former boss George W. Bush.

Jennings said: “Now I’m callus on this Hitler business because I lived through the Bush years and I used to peer out my window onto Pennsylvania Avenue and I saw everybody marching around in their brown uniforms, signs up, Bush is Hitler! Bush is Hitler! And then they did it to John McCain. They did it to Mitt Romney. They’ve done it to Donald Trump, they even did it to Paul Ryan, I recall at one point. So, I’ve heard it all before.”

Jennings then doubled down on comments he made that drew scorn from his network colleague Jim Sciutto. Jennings equated pro-Palestinian protestors to Nazis.

“I think the reason Democrats are freaking out about it right now is because what they have learned is that it’s not Republicans who are the Hitler’s or the Nazis. It’s actually emanating from within their own party. If you want to find Hitler-ish, Nazi-esque, anti-semitic tendencies, look on the left, not the right.”

When it comes to Trump. “He colluded with Russia, he's a racist, he hates women, he moved MLK bust, he's going to cause a nuclear holocaust with North Korea, Stormy Daniels, etc. Now it's this fake outrage over these illegals. Next will be? It's one thing after another.”

Eventually people become immune from this horse manure and see it for what it is as just another the boy who cried wolf.

Meanwhile, what Biden said, did and didn’t goes unchecked.

The economy is fine. Lie. Tens of millions of working-class Americans under Biden ate away at their ability to buy groceries, pay rent and afford even a used car.

Biden pushed massive spending bills through his Democrat congress.

If you are against DEI, progressives call you a bigot.

Dems claim puberty blockers are good for minors.

Dems insisted and swore Biden was healthy and strong.

“The exploding federal debt is not a problem”

Here’s a few of Joe Biden lies:
LIE #1: Joe Biden said he was arrested on his way to see Nelson Mandela.
Joe Biden said, “I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see (Nelson Mandela) on Robbens Island.”
He was never arrested. The only thing that happened is that he was temporarily stopped while he was traveling. Biden has repeatedly changed his story through the years. Even left-wing fact-checkers, like Politifact and the New York Times, identified this as a lie. This inspired SNL to do a pretty funny skit about the whole incident.

LIE #2: Biden lied about his involvement in the Civil Rights movement.
“When I was 17, I participated in sit-ins to desegregate restaurants and movie houses. And my stomach turned upon hearing the voices of Faubus and Wallace. My soul raged on seeing Bull Connor and his dogs.” (Joe Biden 1983)

“When, I started as a kid, a young man in high school [was], uh, dealing with the issue. I got involved — I wasn’t any great shakes — but got involved in the civil rights movement. Desegregating restaurants, that kind of thing,” (Joe Biden, June 10th, 2020)

Joe Biden, on several separate occasions, has claimed that he was involved in the civil rights movement. He claimed that while he was in high school, he was working to desegregate restaurants. This was a lie.

LIE #3: THREE LIES IN ONE. Biden said he went to law school on a full academic scholarship. He also claimed that he graduated top of his class with three degrees.

“I went to law school on a full academic scholarship, the only one in my class to have a full academic scholarship…… And then decided I wanted to stay, went back to law school and, in fact, ended up in the top half of my class.”

Biden further claimed he “graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school” during his time at the Syracuse University College of Law.

Biden only got a half scholarship. Biden did not graduate top of his class, he graduated from law school 76th in a class of 85 students. Biden also did not graduate with three degrees, he only graduated with one.

The Media Research Center put together a compilation video of the multiple plagiarism scandals Biden was involved in during 1987-1988.

LIE #4: Biden claimed he was a professor.
Biden said, “rather than taking a Wall Street job, I became a teacher, I became a professor”
Joe Biden claimed he became an Ivy League professor after he was vice president, despite never teaching a class.

Folks, you know, and I know, it just doesn’t work anymore. The best thing all of us can do to keep our sanity is do what the farmers finally did when the kid called Wolf over and over again: Disregard the call.
