(SB) - Environmentalism is destroying America through overregulation. It limits our choices and human behavior which abridges our freedoms. The fact that the United Nations in 1988 began to study how human behavior affects the environment should make the whole investigation suspect. No one can argue that we need to be stewards of the beautiful creation we have been given by God who owns it all. God created the Universe for the enjoyment of human beings but have a duty to be good stewards of it. Human beings are not the enemy of the environment as we are lead to believe.
The narrative that there is a total consensus of environmental scientists promulgating this idea is a lie. It stands to reason that these scientists want to control every area of our lives. They have largely been successful. What the believers of this narrative are doing to deniers is evil. Any scientist who disagrees with this narrative has their reputation ruined. Their freedom of speech is denied. Their ability to make a living is taken away. This is denial of their pursuit of happiness which is guaranteed in our Constitution. Therefore, censorship of this magnitude changes our culture. People become afraid to question what the government has predetermined as truth without supporting evidence.
Does this remind you of another form of government? It is what most of the world experiences – tyranny and dictatorial governance. Communist nations fear speaking out because dictatorial governments use their power to take them into custody and put them in jail. Does this remind you of what is happening in the United States? It should if you are paying any attention to the way many conservatives are being treated when they speak up and refuse to accept the government propaganda.
Climatologist Judith Curry, former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology, “testified in a 2015 U.S. Senate hearing that she had once received an email from a scientist employed at NASA who said, ‘I was at a small meeting of NASA affiliated scientists and was told by our top manager that he was told by his NASA boss that we should not try to publish papers contrary to the current global warmings claims, because he (the NASA boss) would then have a headache countering the ‘undesirable publicity’” as reported by The Epoch Times. This is intimidation. If you care about your future and personal safety, you likely be intimidated and yield to the pressure.
A book written by climatologist Roy Spencer, entitled, The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World’s Top Climate Scientists, identified fifteen propaganda techniques used by propagandists. Included in these techniques are the following: causing panic (schools in America have done this to elementary children), encouraging a herd mentality, and personal attacks. Once you silence those who disagree with the narrative, the government begins to regulate anything and everything they deem detrimental to the climate including anything using fossil fuels which is in nearly every product and every machine.
Recently, the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) is requiring sizable public companies to disclose their emissions and how a warming world could supposedly threaten their business. They are required to disclose some aspects of their carbon footprints. This is costly to companies and takes control of the way their business operates.
These are the controls of communist countries. These regulations kill capitalism. That, I contend, is the purpose of the environmentalists. This governmental control over all businesses wreaks fascism. Are you going to let government bureaucracies take our freedoms away and destroy our Republic? Your vote this November will decide whether our Republic continues to exist. Our founding fathers warned about this and created a Constitution that when followed prevents this destruction.
